Convenely Software operates convenely.net and provides event-management software and communications services to its customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information, including information collected through our SMS (text message) program.

SMS / Text Messaging

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from Convenely or a Convenely-powered event or business, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent record. We use this information solely to send the messages you requested (event and appointment updates, and marketing messages where you have consented).

No mobile information — including your phone number and SMS opt-in consent — is sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with the service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messaging service (for example, our messaging carrier), and only to the extent required to provide that service. All other categories of data sharing, if any, exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Message Frequency, Rates, and Opt-Out

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP; you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@convenely.net

Consent and Retention

We obtain express consent before sending non-transactional SMS messages and retain records of that consent (phone number, timestamp, and the consent language shown) as required by applicable law, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You may withdraw consent at any time as described above.
